We are just in the process of blocking Hotel rooms for you and will update this page regularly.
Please book your hotel room yourself and mention the magic words 'Einstein Symposium 2013' to get the reduced room rates.
Room blocking will expire at different times for the different hotels. Please make sure you book your hotel early.

The stop closest to the institute is located along lines 4 and 5: Schneiderberg / Wilhelm-Busch Museum about 500 m from the institute.
The hotel Savoy (location) is within walking distance, (1.7 km). From Savoy you can also use the tramway (only 2 stations away) lines 4 and 5.
The Savoy also blocked some rooms in their "Appartment Haus" which is conveniently close to the institute (route). Please enquire availabilites upon booking. In case you book an appartment you would check it at the Hotel Savoy (location) and then get a free shuttle lift to your appartment. Breakfast will in this case be served in the rooms. Each appartment can accomodate two people..
Mercure is also 1.7 km walking distance but a bit less convenient via tram. You have to walk to Steintor or Königsworther Platz first (10 min).
The Hotel in Herrenhausen (Route to institute) is within walking distance (2.1 km) and can be reached via the tram lines 4 and 5.
The Gästehaus im Herrenhäuser Garten is the neighbour of the Savoy appartments, so also has the same rout to the institute.
Finally the
Hotel-at-Hannover (Hotel Alpha Tirol Hannover) is 2.1 km away from the meeting location but conveniently close to the city centre and also close to a direct tram line at Königsworther Platz (lines 4,5).
Same as the walk from Savoy you can choose a nice route through the park "Georgengarten".
